DTEx™ gene expression analysis
Through the use of DTEx™ Microarray technology and bioinformatics, the Gene Expression Analysis group at NoAb BioDiscoveries focuses on examining the effects of drug treatment on the pattern of gene expression in human cell lines and primary hepatocytes. The objective of this research is to establish whether gene expression patterns can be used as surrogate markers of adverse drug reactions or predictive markers of potential drug:drug interactions.

DTEx™ Microarrays can be used to explore questions such as:

  • Which transporter genes are induced or suppressed by my compound?
  • Which cytochrome P450 genes are induced or suppressed by my compound?
  • Is the DTEx™ signal indicative of potential acquired drug resistance or adverse drug reactions?
